Hi there, I'm Mike and I'm an independently licensed mental health clinician serving clients throughout Massachusetts via telehealth.
I help clients better understand the friction points in their lives, assess how they've been impacted and ultimately tap into their authentic selves to move forward. Together, we access thoughts and emotions in a healthy and constructive way, to strengthen relationships and find greater fulfillment. My clinical approach is person-centered. I meet each client where they are without judgment and utilize the evidence-based practice(s) that best fit each unique person, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), motivational interviewing and narrative therapy.
I've done this work myself. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked for over 20 years in high-stress environments including several venture backed start ups and the military in addition to navigating the ups and downs of relationships. These experiences and others left an emotional residue that I unknowingly carried for years. Through my own therapy, I found healing and a new way to approach my life and my relationships. I bring these lessons into my work with clients today.
I hold degrees from Boston University, The University of California at Berkeley and The United States Military Academy at West Point. When I'm not chasing my two young kids around, I enjoy running, cycling, hiking, watching football, watching Bravo with my wife or playing board games.
